Conference on Inequality and Living Standards
The Centre will host a conference on inequality and living standards on 16-17 March 2017. Confirmed speakers include Jeff Williamson (Harvard/Wisconsin), Gordon Menzies (UTS), Jeff Borland (Melbourne), Andrew Leigh (Federal Parliament), and a number of ANU faculty. In addition, the Goldsmith Public Lecture will be given by Leandro Prados de la Escosura (Carlos III, pictured). The program can be viewed here.

The Centre for Economic History in the ANU Research School of Economics has been established to foster scholarship through a variety of linkage projects and events. It provides a forum for quality research and discussion of economic history among academics and an interface with the wider world.
