Middle Eastern Economic History Workshop

The ANU Centre for Economic History will be hosting a workshop on Middle Eastern economic history, which will bring together scholars whose research focuses on various aspects of the region, including the long running role of institutions in the region’s development, the impact of income inequality on growth, and the effect of ethno-linguistic segregation. The conference is supported by the Centre, ANU Research School of Economics, and the University of Melbourne.
